Ari Lennox made a lot of posts about going to Ghana for vacationing. However, a lot of negative backlash on social media made her recede further back into her shell and delete Instagram. That won’t stop her from getting back to work.
Lennox’s Twitter handle still remains active, and the 30-year old singer does most of her communication with the fans from there. On the 7th, she tweeted to reveal that she’s back in the studio again.
Hey, love y’all. I’m good, in the studio too. my heart hasn’t changed. Nobody can take the peace I felt away from me. I do not like Twitter, or [social media] rather. So I’m giving my passwords to my label. Hopefully this will last. Love you all and thanks for the kindness
Ari then added that she still has no regrets about the tweets she made, and she is retaining the peace she felt at Ghana. She said that she does not Twitter or social media, and she’s handing her passwords to her label.
The singer recently shared how she felt regarding her trip to the West African country Ghana. She said that she felt more in touch with her ancestors, which was not a well-received statement from fans.
Lennox’s fans are still at it though, trying to find ways to defend herself and developing arguments for her. However, at the end of the day Ghana is what she considered a place of awakening for her, so it’s hard what will be the next move forward.
