Kevin Durant has a charming personality that everyone admires. In addition to being funny KD is always open about his opinions. While KD was stuck at home due to Covid protocols, he took up the task to give his favorite artist a little more than a shout out.
Kevin Durant’s personality is one of the reasons why his podcast does so well. Due to Covid protocols, he and his co-host Eddie Guerrero were the only speakers. Speaking his mind, KD gave a huge shoutout and co-sign to Brooklyn drill rap leader Fivio Foreign.
Kevin said, “Fivio is just… every time I hear his shit, I feel like I’m a Brooklyn drill [rapper]. I just be in my seat moving like one of them. He’s just so nice with it. That drill shit, Fivio got it. He got it, man.” Kevin didn’t just stop there. He recounted a meet-up with Fivio at Rolling Loud in 2019.
The Brooklyn Nets player said he enjoyed Fivio’s performance very much. He especially appreciated the song, the ad-libs, dances, and the all around vibe. Fivio soon caught wind of this shoutout. In return, he showed gratitude and appreciation for KD on Instagram.
I remember 2019 rolling loud like it was yesterday @easymoneysniper but I ain’t think da big dogged remembered dats shit hit me for real.. Keep workin yu neva kno who watching! Ayo but @ dis point we like best friends. Pull up on me listen to da Album gang.
Fivio reposted the clip from KD’s podcast along with a photo of the two together. Fivio called them best friends, and offered Durant a sneak peak at his upcoming album The Bible. How wholesome was that? We hope that this friendship flourishes forever.
