Dexter Trends As Fans Complain About Final Episode

Dexter fans were skeptical when it was announced that the show would return for one more season. Dexter: New Blood aired its finale last night. The showrunner believed the series revival would make people’s brains explode. Juding from the reaction on social media, plenty of heads did blow up after seeing the latest episode.

The finale cast the titular Dexter Morgan in a very different light than viewers are used to seeing. The psychopathic killer seemed to have lost all of the character’s sympathy. Twitter was not thrilled with the way the show ended.

“Why bring reboot dexter if you’re going to end it like that ? They hyped up the batista sh*t and he didn’t even get to come face to face with dexter. Terrible ending I loved the season but what a terrible ending to a fantastic show.”

The sour end comes to a series that received critical acclaim during its original run. Dexter viewers were cautiously optimistic that the series could find new life with the reboot. Now that the season has aired, fans are airing their grievances.
