Doja Cat has been killing it lately with her songs getting into everyone’s playlists. She has garnered a large number of fans after giving us some of the best songs of the year. Talking about fans, some would even make a false bomb threat to see her up close.
A man allegedly made a bomb threat in an attempt to jump the line at a concert featuring Doja Cat in Indianapolis. He has been arrested after the incident. Fans were delayed from entering the area due to such conditions, but gates went on to open around 6:45pm ET.
Ahead of the college football National Championships on Monday, AT&T is partnering with College Football Playoff to host a series of concerts. The game will take place in Indianapolis on Monday night. Saturday night includes performances from Doja Cat, AJR and Pink Sweat$, and kicked off around 7pm ET.
The IMPD issued a statement on Twitter stating the threat was a false alarm. The police later confirmed that the concert would continue as planned. Eyewitnesses previously described the chaotic scene on social media, after waiting in line for hours to attend the free outdoor concert.
“IMPD officers responded, searched his bag and did not find an explosive, The man had unrelated outstanding warrants and was immediately arrested for those.”
Doja Cat has been facing very bad luck when it comes to stage performances and concerts. Recently her iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour was cancelled due to covid-19 complications. This time however she got the pass fortunately and we are all relieved.
