Lauren Wood & Odell Beckham Jr. Go Big For Their First Child’s Baby Shower

Odell Beckham Jr. and his new team, the Los Angeles Rams, have the biggest week of their season lingering. The Rams face their division rivals, the San Francisco 49ers, at 4:25 p.m. ET today, Jan. 9 to determine which seed they will be in the NFL Playoffs, which begin next week. Keeping that aside, OBJ is also expecting his first child.

If the Rams win, they will be the No. 2 seed in the NFC and will enjoy home field advantage in the playoffs until they face the No. 1 seed Packers in the NFC championship game. They might drop to the No. 3, No. 4, or No. 5 seed if they lose.

Odell has already had a fantastic second half of the season with the Rams, scoring five touchdowns in seven games, compared to his previous team, the Cleveland Browns, who scored seven touchdowns in 29 games.

While OBJ’s professional life appears to be going well, his personal life is likely to be much more fascinating. Odell and his girlfriend Lauren Wood announced they were expecting a kid together in late November. Wood was expecting their first child at the time, and she had a noticeable baby bump.

OBJ and Lolo hosted a baby shower for the child at their home yesterday, Jan. 8, the day before the big game. The placard at the shower simply said “Baby Beckham,” implying that they haven’t decided on a name for the child yet.

Lauren’s pregnancy timeline is unknown, but her baby bump has grown to a significant size, indicating that the baby could arrive sooner rather than later. Watch Odell and Lauren during the baby shower in the video below.
