Hit-Boy’s fire streak is still going strong in 2022. He’s been behind some of hip-biggest hop’s singles in the previous decade. From Kanye West and Jay-Z’s “N***** in Paris” to Travis Scott and Drake’s “Sicko Mode,” when it comes to his discography, that’s simply the top of the iceberg.
He released two albums with Nas last year, King’s Disease II and Magic. Kanye West dropped by to cook something up for Hit-Boy & The Game’s upcoming project. The Game and Kanye West apparently got some heat together on the collaboration.
Before photographer Kevin Wong uploaded a Boomerang of the two rappers and Hit-Boy vibing out together on Instagram, The Game shared a photo of himself and Ye at the studio. Unfortunately, because there was no sound, it was difficult to tell what they were listening to. Wong wrote in the caption that all three of them “went crazyy,” so we may expect some new heat from them shortly.
Shortly after, an actual sample with audio leaked on the internet. Despite being brief, Kanye can be heard rapping over what appears to be a sample of Eazy-E’s “Eazy Duz It.” Surprisingly, both Hit-Boy and The Game have appeared to express their grievances with Kanye in some form or another in recent years.
As you may recall, The Game’s leaked verse made some extremely nasty charges about Kanye’s then-wife, Kim Kardashian. Then Hit-Boy took a shot at Kanye’s DONDA launch. Everything has obviously been resolved since then. There’s no news on when the project will be released, but we’re excited to see it.
