Mookie Betts is known to be one of the best athletes in Major League Baseball. Betts’ prowess on the diamond and in the batter’s box is obvious to anyone who watches him play. Baseball isn’t the only sport Mookie is dominant in.
Betts bowled the second perfect game of his life on Sunday. Mookie shared a video of the achievement on social media. Most people go a lifetime without approaching a single perfect game. Betts previously got a perfect score in 2017 as a member of the Boston Red Sox.
Mookie gave himself a new nickname in the caption for the Instagram video. Betts wants fans to refer to him as “Mr. 300.” The 300 obviously refers to a perfect game in the sport of bowling.
“This is how we roll! Just call me Mr. 300!”
The baseball star confidently stepped up to the line and rolled a perfect strike. Mookie hooked the ball directly into the sweet spot and knocked down the remainder of the pins that stood between himself and perfection. The shot then cuts to the automatic scoreboard which recorded the incredible feat.
It looks like Mookie Betts is making the best of his offseason. Mookie married the love of his life in December. In January, he once again reached perfection on the lanes. The Dodgers star won’t have too much longer to mess around. Training camp for the squad opens on February 26.
