Andy Cohen & Anderson Cooper Know Each Other Too Well To Date

Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper have a number of similarities, from the same initials to a similar occupation. Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper are close friends which is no surprise to their fans, but they’re not closer than that. Cohen recently explained why he won’t date Anderson Cooper.

Cooper told Jimmy Fallon in 2017 that the two met in the 1990s. They’ve developed a wonderful friendship over the years, but it’s never been anything more than that. People appear to be perplexed as to why Cohen and Cooper don’t immediately get together.

Cohen and Cooper together on New Year’s Eve hosted CNN’s countdown special. There are always rumors of a possible romantic relationship always seem to fly. Cohen was eager to dismiss any rumors or speculation that he and Cooper were planning to take their friendship to the next level.

Cohen called into The Howard Stern Show shortly after the new year to talk about everything from the live show, including his connection with Cooper. Stern asked him some questions about his love relations and cohen responded to his every doubt.

“What is it about Anderson Cooper that keeps you from falling in love with him?”

“I just think it’s not what our relationship is based on. We’re just friends; that’s not a part of it. I think, at this point, we know each other too well. We’re not attracted to each other in that way.”

In the interview, Cohen admitted that Cooper is a “handsome guy.” He said that he won’t find anyone with whom he would like to share his love life. In August 2021, he told People magazine that things are too different now as he has a son.

“Now there’s an endgame. Are you going to be a good stepfather? It’s changed everything.”

“Very independent people who have their own things going with their own lives, who are very strong in their belief systems.”
