It is officially trade season, and it seems like everyone wants in on the action. If rumors are to be believed, big things might be in store for the Philadelphia 76ers, who are looking for a blockbuster trade with the Atlanta Hawks. Ben Simmons has presented quite an issue for the 76ers, and many have wondered if he will be traded. It appears that the wheels are in motion to accomplish that.

Shams Charania of The Athletic seems to be of the opinion that the Hawks might trade Cam Reddish and John Collins in exchange for Ben Simmons. Now, Brian Windhorst and Marcus J. Spears of ESPN are looking to add to the speculation, with Spears mentioning Harris.

I’m hearing they want to include Tobias Harris.

If Windhorst and Spears are to be believed, the 76ers have begun discussing Tobias Harris as a potential addition to the Ben Simmons trade, less than three years after Harris signed a five-year, $180 million deal with the 76ers during the 2019 offseason.

It seems that the Harris might just prove to be a hurdle to the deal, since Spears believes that the Hawks were only interested in a trade for Simmons until Harris was brought up, since they are not looking to reconfigure their entire roster.

No matter which way the trade goes, one thing is for certain. It is sure to shake things up.
