Julian Edelman spent his entire career with Tom Brady and Bill Belichick as a member of the New England Patriots. The team became a dynasty under their leadership. Belichick runs a very tight ship. Brady left New England for Tampa Bay after the 2019 season. Edelman thinks the two could be on a collision course for the Super Bowl.
TMZ Sports has reported that Julian will place a $100,000 bet on both the Patriots and the Bucs making it all the way to Super Bowl LVI. Edelman is confident in both of his former coworkers to get the job done. The former wide receiver said he’s using the WynnBet Sports app to make the wager.
Julian said WynnBet fronted him the money to help promote the brand. This is a real bet despite the tie-in. Edelman stands to win $535,000 if his prediction comes true.
There are certainly worse bets a person could take on this year’s Super Bowl teams. The Pats may face a tougher road to the championship as they earned the #6 seed in the AFC. Tampa Bay is one of the favorites to return to the big game and are the #2 seed in the NFC.
The Patriots and Bucs played earlier this season. Tom Brady and Tampa Bay walked out of Gillette Stadium with the victory. Julian Edelman said it was a strange experience seeing Brady and Belichick face off.
The NFL playoffs kick off this weekend. The Patriots will visit the Buffalo Bills on Saturday, January 15th. Julian Edelman will know whether he’s a winner shortly after midnight.
