Bryce Young threw two key interceptions as Alabama dropped college football’s national title game to Georgia last night. The Bulldogs overcame a sluggish start to down the Crimson Tide 33-18. The Heisman Trophy winning Young threw for 369 yards, but turnovers ultimately killed any chance Alabama had to make a comeback.
Pitt’s Kenny Pickett started trending in the wake of the game. Kenny broke several school and conference records as he led the Panthers to the ACC Championship. Pickett opted to sit out the Peach Bowl to prepare for the NFL Draft. After Young’s interceptions, thousands of college football fans trolled the Tide QB by proclaiming Pickett the true Heisman winner.

“SEC fans give Bryce Young a “pass” for last night’s performance because he loses a receiver like Jameson Williams. If that was Kenny Pickett for Pitt, those same fans would be out in full force with the overrated chants. It would be deafening.”
Kenny Pickett is projected to be the first quarterback taken in this year’s draft. Bryce Young will have a lot of thinking to do about his performance last night. That still doesn’t take away from an incredible season.
