Mark Hunt Compares UFC Fighter Pay To Slave Wages

Dana White is known to be a very controversial figure when it comes to the proper payment of UFC stars. He was called out for this fact many times by numerous people. However, it cannot be dismissed that Dana White has made UFC what it is today as it remains the most popular promotion for MMA in the world right now.

The world of MMA has certainly grown exponentially since its humble beginnings a couple of decades ago. For a long time now Jake Paul has been fighting for the rights of UFC fighters when it comes to getting paid a fair wage for their efforts.

Jake Paul had previously blasted Dana White over UFC not paying their fighters properly. It seems Jake Paul has clowned Dana White once again, this time over UFC jacking up their price.

While speaking on The MMA Hour, MMA fighter Mark Hunt talked about UFC’s current pay policy for their fighters. Hunt compared the UFC fighters to slaves and called for them to demand better pay from the UFC.

“They say don’t bite the hand that feeds you but you got to have enough of that? You’re gonna take what’s given to you like a slave? Are you gonna sit there and say, ‘I’ll take that, I’ll take this.’? No! I won’t! I won’t sit at the back of the bus, I’m going to do something about it.”

Mark Hunt also made it clear he supports Jake Paul’s current demands for better pay for the UFC fighters. We will have to wait and see whether Jake Paul will ever work under Dana White as it simply seems impossible at this point in time. Despite this, many believe it will happen in the future.
