Donald Trump continues to spread a cavalcade of lies about the 2020 United States Presidential election. The Donald has been appearing on any outlet he can, even over a year and dozens of court decisions later, claiming that the election was stolen from him by a vast Democratic conspiracy. Without social media to spread his message, Trump’s latest stop was NPR. Things did not go well for him.

Trump appeared on Morning Edition with Steve Inskeep. The disgraced former president ended the interview after less than ten minutes. The trigger came when Inskeep asked Trump if he would insist that Republicans back his repeatedly debunked claims about the election. Inskeep pressed on the topic, and Donald walked away.

“Are you telling Republicans in 2022 that they must press your case on the past election in order to get your endorsement? Is that an absolute?”

The former president responded by saying that future elections would be in peril of something wasn’t done about the nonexistent fraud. Inskeep continued to ask the same question. Trump interrupted him and ended the interview abruptly.

““So Steve, thank you very much. I appreciate it.”

Donald Trump is still traveling the country and holding rallies to spread the big lie. President Biden recently referred to his claims as a “web of lies.” Trump doesn’t seem like he is going to let those falsehoods go any time soon.
