Jason Momoa & Lisa Bonet Call it Quits

Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet tied the knot after an eleven-year romantic relationship. However, it seems the marriage life was a bit too much for them as they go they their separate way after just four years of marriage.

On Jan 12, Jason announced his split from Lisa on his Instagram. The DC star explained his reasons for the separation. Jason wrote on his post,

“We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times… A revolution is unfolding ~and our family is of no exception… feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring,”

Jason also revealed he chose to share the news with fans not because it’s “newsworthy” but to find closure and go about their lives with dignity and honesty. He continued on his post as he wrote, “love between us carries on” and that he and his long term partner’s connection is “evolving in ways it wishes to be known and lived.”

In addition to the news of their split, Jason also shared several photos in the post including a sunset sky and one of person wearing a shirt which read, “May my soul shout love.” Fans’ are certainly disappointed with the news but we all wish him well in his new journey in life.

The ex-couple got married in 2017 and began dating as far as back as 2005 after they met through mutual friends. They share a two children together, Lola, 14 and Nakoa-wolf, 13.
