Kim Kardashian was one of the first people to weigh in to Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly’s surprise news which broke the internet. The power couple recently announced their engagement. Soon congratulations and good wishes started raining from fans and their industry colleagues.
Kim Kardashian wrote, “So happy for u guys!!!!” in an Instagram comment on Wednesday, Jan. 12 just six minutes after Megan shared the news of their engagement. The Skims founder also added three emojis, a heart eyes smiley face, an engagement ring and a black heart.
The Jennifer’s Body star and Kelly announced their plan to tie the knot in a joint Instagram post. The rapper apparently popped the question on Jan. 11. He wrote on his post, “Beneath the same branches we fell in love under, I brought her back to ask her to marry me,”
Fox added in her post, “In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree,” which included a video of her beau getting down on one knee. Meanwhile, Kardashian has become very close to the couple in part thanks to her sister Kourtnet Kardashian who got engaged to Kelly’s frequent collaborator Travis Baker in Oct. 2021.
The Poosh founder and Fox posed for a photo shoot for Kim’s Skims brand. The “Blooy Valentine” artist is also close friends with Kim’s new boyfriend Pete Davidson. The Texas native and the comedian first met in 2017 while filming an episode of Wild ‘N Out.
