The Rock’s Red Notice Getting Back To Back Sequels

The Rock continues to defy the odds as one of Hollywood’s top drawing stars. Red Notice became the most-watched Netflix movie of all time. The streaming giant is ready for Dwayne Johnson and friends to come back for more.

Red Notice stars Johnson along with Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot. Its production was the most expensive ever for a Netflix feature. It turns out the company had a huge hit on their hands. Sequels were sure to follow.

Deadline Hollywood reported the news earlier today. Production for the two sequels is set to begin in early 2023. Rawson Marshall Thurber has already begun writing the scripts.

Sources close to Netflix say all three stars are expected to be back for the new sequels. Additional characters and more star power is likely to be added. No budget ceiling will be safe.

Allowing for back-to-back shoots means Netflix has a lot of confidence in the property and the talent. They’ll be fronting a huge budget for two major motion pictures. The Rock alone will cost them a small fortune.

Fans will have to wait a while before they get their first look at Red Notice’s two new sequels. Fans of The Rock will be able to check out Black Adam on July 29th. Dwayne Johnson continues his awesome career in Hollywood!
