Machine Gun Kelly popped the question to Megan Fox after just year and half of them dating. It seems from planning a perfect proposal venue to getting the perfect engagement ring MGK has got it all covered.
On Tuesday, the “Papercuts” singer, proposed to Megan Fox underneath a special banyan tree. The MGK went all in and presented Megan with an extra-special ring under the spot where they “fell in love.”
Kelly took the help of jeweler Stephen Webster to design a “toi et moi” style ring featuring the couple’s birthstones, a diamond for himself and an emerald for his bride-to-be. Webster did not fail the artist with his work as the ring came out looking absolutely gorgeous.
Kelly said on his Instagram the two pear-shaped stones symbolizes ” two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love.” He surely put major thought on picking up his engagement ring.
Gemologist and The Clear Cut founder Olivia Landau told PageSix Style that the two-stone rings have been a huge trend over the past two years. Olivia said the stones are around 2 to 2.5 carats in size and could be worth around $50,000 to $75,000.
Fox was previously married to Brian Austin Green. The two of them share three children together, Noah,9, Bodhi, 7 and Journey, 5. Meanwhile, this will be the first marriage for MGK. however he does have a 13-year old daughter, Casie.
