John Stamos is struggling to adjust to life without one of his dearest friends. Bob Saget recently passed away at the age of 65. The actors have been close friends since their days on Full House. Stamos described his grief in a recent tweet.
Celebrities and admirers from all walks of life have paid their respects to the late comedian. Bob Saget was a beloved television father in the 1980’s and 1990’s on the cast of Full House. Stamos’ character, Uncle Jesse, brought balance to the straight-laced patriarch, Danny Tanner. That relationship blossomed into a real-life friendship that John Stamos is having a hard time without.
Stamos tweeted his feelings about the terrible loss of Bob Saget earlier today. John said the pain comes in waves. There are certain times when he knew to expect a conversation that never comes.
“The mornings are hard. Middle of day comes in waves. Mostly bad. Nighttime is hard. I miss getting a text from him right now. Me answering. Him saying he’s too tired to respond. Me saying, “Then why’d you text me so early?””
Stamos and Saget reunited when Full House got an unlikely reboot. Fuller House brought back almost the entire original cast. It led to a nationwide nostalgia pandemic before viral ones became en vogue.
Bob Saget is sorely missed by his fans, friends, and family. John spent the formative years of his career working with his pal. Hopefully with time, things will get easier for John Stamos.
