Wendy Williams Was Inebriated & Stripped On Show Set Before Hospitalization

Wendy William’s multi-talented personality is well-known. The multi-talented personality is currently dealing with serious mental issues. Wendy allegedly became so inebriated while shooting her show from home in 2020 that she stripped naked.

According to The Sun, the claimed event occurred in May 2020, when the 57-year-old talk show host was forced to record The Wendy Williams Show from her New York City mansion due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Wendy was trying to manage her drinking at the time and was acting erratically both on and off the set.

Wendy’s manager and a small number of other close acquaintances were asked to check on the talk show host’s well-being after one particularly stressful show earlier that week. When they arrived, Wendy was supposedly visibly drunk and began stripping off her clothes in her bedroom until she was fully naked.

According to those acquainted with the scenario, she also allegedly began inappropriately touching herself while yelling vulgarities at the group of confidants there. Those present immediately contacted medical personnel, but Wendy allegedly grew irate and aggressive when they arrived at her $4.5 million Queens apartment.

She was eventually brought to a local hospital, where she remained for several weeks. As previously reported by Radar, officials of The Wendy Williams Show revealed in a statement at the time that Wendy will be taking a break from the show due to “symptoms from her Graves’ condition.”

“Recently, Wendy has been dealing with symptoms from her Graves’ disease which is causing fatigue. In consultation with her doctor and as a precautionary measure, she will be taking some time off as she continues to receive treatment.”

“We look forward to welcoming Wendy back soon and continuing the Wendy@Home shows. More updates on a return date will follow.”

According to The Sun, the troubled talk show presenter has allegedly cut off all contact with everybody who was there on the day of the alleged event.

“Wendy clearly does not want to associate with anybody who was there that day.”

“Everyone knows not to get too close to Wendy. It will backfire, and when it does, you’ll get burned.”
