Black Panther actress Letitia Wright made a name for herself as Shuri in the film. She is also set to reprise her role in the upcoming sequel “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.” It seems she has made a full recovery and returned to filming as well.
Letitia Wright is also a controversial figure due to her stance on COVID-19 vaccines, as she is an anti-vaxxer. As reported earlier, Letitia Wright pushed anti-vaccination views on the set of “Black Panther 2” despite the current COVID-19 pandemic situation.
Wright would deny sharing anti-vaccination posts as well. Last year, Letitia Wright suffered an injury that required her to be hospitalized for a long time. According to a report by BBC, Letitia Wright has recovered and returned to the Black Panther 2 set.
A spokesperson for Wright has confirmed that “filming resumed this month as planned and we’re on schedule” to meet the current release date. Black Panther 2 is slated to release on Jul 08, 2022. We will have to see how the film will turn out to be without Chadwick Boseman and Michael B. Jordan.
