Antonio Brown Clears Up Relationship With Tom Brady

Antonio Brown has been all over the news since walking out on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the middle of a game. Brown was eventually released by the team. The wide receiver went on with his life like nothing happened. Brown recently said the only relationship he had with Tom Brady was football- elated. Now, AB has backed off that statement.

AB has been a productive but controversial wide receiver in the NFL since his days with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Tampa Bay fans were hoping Brown could help lock up another Super Bowl for Brady and the Bucs. An abrupt exit from the team left Tom without one of his favorite targets.

Brown recently talked to TMZ Sports about his relationship with Tom Brady. The troubled wideout said he loves his former quarterback. AB said Brady is one of his true friends.

“Listen, I love Tom. That’s my guy. Don’t get it twisted. A lot of words were took out of substance. Tom is one of my true friends in the midst of adversity that was there for me, so don’t get it twisted about nothing with Tom Brady.

The Bucs will take on the Philadelphia Eagles tomorrow at 1 PM in an NFL Wild Card round playoff matchup. Brady won’t have Antonio Brown to help him out. AB thinks that’s just fine, as long as the two are friends.
