Kanye West Explains Why He Assaulted Autograph Seeking Fan

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian had a terrific connection, but their marriage fell apart, and their relationship is clearly strained. Kanye West recently revealed that Kim Kardashian is restraining their children from him throughout their divorce, despite the fact that they agreed to co-parent.

Kanye West is setting the record straight. The 44-year-old recently sat down with Jason Lee of Hollywood Unlocked to discuss a few of the reasons he’s been in the news recently. That includes a street brawl with a fan, his new song, and his protracted divorce from his wife, SKIMS founder and reality TV star Kim Kardashian.

Footage from the night Ye allegedly assaulted a fan has gone viral, and it shows a woman, thought to be the rapper’s cousin attempting to calm him down. He yells at her outside a downtown Los Angeles bar at 3 a.m., “Get away from me!” As the rapper tries to maintain his distance, she firmly says, “I am your family, give me your hand.”

“She would not get away from me,” the Yeezy creator said about his cousin when thinking on the tense moment with Lee. An alleged autograph seeker approached West during the family crisis and was reportedly knocked to the ground by him shortly after.

Lee said in a separate interview that the alleged victim was following Ye down to obtain autographs and that the billionaire was very unhappy with the narrative that’s being painted about him. The police investigation is ongoing, and no charges have been filed at this time.
