Kanye West and The Game released their collaboration project Eazy. The track is still in it’s early hours, and it has got a reaction from fans to downright haters, PETA being one of them.
Fans notes that this version of Ye resembled his earlier catalog. On the other hand, others were impressed by the Eazy-E “Eazy Duz It” sample that perfectly complimented the lyrical approach of Game and Ye.
Just prior to the track’s release, the rapper duo teased “Eazy” by sharing not only a snipped of the song but also revealed the cover art that showed a skinned monkey. People For the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) were not thrilled by this move. The organization issued a statement calling out Kanye.
“The disturbing image of a skinned monkey that @kanyewest shared serves as a reminder that there’s no real difference between humans and other animals,” the organization penned. “Their lives aren’t easy when we abuse and kill them for food, experiments, clothing, or entertainment — they’re not ours to abuse for any reason. #EndSpeciesism.”
However, it’s unclear how The Game managed to avoid being in PETA’s crosshairs. Hip-Hop artists have often found themselves on the receiving end of PETA criticisms. The group singled out Ye as over the years they have repeatedly targeted him and Kardashian-Jenners for various reasons including wearing fur.
Meanwhile, Game and Ye’s new track is a hit with the listeners. The pair seem to have reignited an already heightened interest in both the rappers’ next projects with Ye already working on Donda 2.
