Kanye West started trending on social media after he posted a video accusing Kim Kardashian of not inviting him to their daughter, Chicago’s birthday. Now, it appears the Donda rapper had an separate bash for his daughter after all.
To say Chicago West’s 4th birthday was an dramatic event would be an understatement. PageSix reported after Kanye crashed Kim’s party, he later threw his own. A source close to the family told the outlet,
“He was always having his own party for Chicago. He had it at 4 p.m. at his office downtown [in Los Angeles] that he planned, so it’s so frustrating he crashed Kim’s party and created this narrative that he wasn’t invited,”
Ye posted an dramatic video on social media to voice his frustrations while he seemingly searched for answers while en route to the party. Multiple sources revealed that the Skims founder was shocked with Ye’s accusations that he “wasn’t allowed to know where her party was.”
Ye would eventually end up at Kardashian’s party after Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner shared the address with him. A source emphasized Ye’s plan was to always have his own party for Chicago. The source said,
”Kim at 12 p.m. and Kanye at 4 p.m. That always was the plan, that he would have them at that time. And he took the kids from the noon party to his,”
Other insiders found it unusual for Ye wanting to celebrate the kids’ birthdays as “Kanye didn’t show up to Chicago’s birthday last year, nor did he show up to Psalm’s last year.” Apparently, the rapper is not happy with Kim because she is creating boundaries and wants more privacy. A source said, this has nothing to do with co-parenting but “his feelings with not being able to control her any longer.”
Something tells us we won’t be seeing an end to Kanye’s antics anytime soon. Meanwhile, the rapper’s bombshell interview with Hollywood Unlocked CEO Jason Lee airs Monday. He is expected to share details about his new girlfriend Julia Fox, Kardashians and their kids.
