Cordae has named himself the best rapper under 25 years old. Cordae is off to a strong start this season. He obviously wants to look his best, and Cordae recently dropped 35 pounds for the GQ magazine cover.
The rapper has recently accomplished some impressive feats. His debut album, The Lost Boy, was published in 2019. The project was well-received by the hip-hop world.
Cordae’s sophomore album, From A Bird’s Eye View, was released recently. Gunna, Eminem, and the legendary Stevie Wonder are among the guests. Among all of these achievements, Cordae is most proud of his 35-pound weight loss.
In an interview with BigBoyTV, Cordae talked about his weight loss. “I had to do a GQ cover,” he said when asked about his drive for losing weight. While not quite the answer one would expect when considering reasons to get in shape. Cordae took a moment to elaborate. He claims to have taken the time to ask himself a single question.
“If don’t get in shape to do a GQ cover, what ever in life is gonna motivate you to get in shape?”
Cordae said when someone is given the chance to flex on such a prestigious newspaper, it’s only natural to want to get in shape for the shoot.
