Eminem’s list of accolades is already long and decorated but he keeps adding more achievements to it. Slim Shady’s “Curtain Call: The Hits” officially surpassed 2.2 Billion streams on Spotify earlier this year. This is his seventh project to go past this remarkable number.
Released in 2005, “Curtain Call: The Hills” was a compilation work that featured the biggest tracks by Eminem until that point in time. It had features from the likes of Notorious B.I.G and Jay Z among others.
Since the beginning of 2022, Marshall’s collection has remained in the Official Charts UK’s Top 30, going higher each week. The album jumped from No. 40 to No. 27 in the week of January 6. The project made it into the Top 20 the following week. “Curtain Call: The Hits” has already climbed five spots to No. 15 in the charting week of January 20.
The top three tracks streamed the most on this collaboration were “Lose Yourself” (1.2 Billion), “Shake That” (297 Million). and “When I’m Gone” (351 Million). Obviously those tracks are still getting considerable spins all over the globe.
Curtain Call: The Hits dropped on December 6, 2005 and fans still can’t get enough of it according to Hits Daily Double. Since its debut at No. 1 in December 2005, the collection has spent 496 weeks on the UK chart. Listen to the album below.
