The world truly suffered an irreplaceable loss after Hollywood icon Betty White passed away on December 31st, 2021. She passed away at the age of 99, just a couple of weeks before her 100th birthday. It seems a new challenge dedicated to her name has been making rounds lately.
As fans are well aware, Betty White loved animals and supported a number of organizations throughout her life. According to TMZ, fans from all over the USA are preparing for what would have been Betty White’s 100th birthday by joining in on a challenge encouraging fans to spread the love to animals in need and donate to local organizations.
Brittany Vizcarra from Paw Works explained the “Betty White Challenge.” Paw Works is an animal rescue organization that places unwanted animals in L.A. shelters into loving homes.
Since the Betty White challenge become viral on social media, organizations have seen an increase in donations and people such as Brittany will see to it that the unwanted animals will get the love they deserve.
A fan-made mural of Betty White helped fans donate to dog rescues as well. That is not all as even Guide Dogs For The Blind recently revealed that they will be naming a puppy after Betty White as well.
