Shannon Sharpe Rips Dallas Cowboys After Playoff Loss

Shannon Sharpe did not mince any words when it came to his reaction to the Dallas Cowboys first-round playoff exist. Dallas lost to the San Francisco 49ers after a bizarre ending that saw time run out on Cowboys as they drove for the winning score. Media personalities have been feasting on Dallas ever since.

Dak Prescott blamed the officials for the late-game gaffe. By rule, an official has to touch the ball for the next play to officially start. Prescott gave the ball to his center, who then covered the ball when the linesman tried to touch it.

Stephen A. Smith tore into the Cowboys earlier this morning on Undisputed. Shannon Sharpe was next to give his take on the team’s performance. It was so brutal that Skip Bayless didn’t know how to react.

“Cowboys fans were literally crying in the stands because you fooled them. People will blame it on the refs, but the Cowboys were the most penalized team in football. The Cowboys are who we thought they were, some over performing bums!”

The hits keep on coming from critics of the Dallas Cowboys. Dak Prescott was criticized for post-game comments where he glorified Dallas fans for pegging the game officials with trash and debris. The playoff loss to a traditional rival should have been enough.

Time will tell if Dallas continues to make their situation worse. The best advice for them would be to hit the golf course early and often. The Cowboys need to leave this mess of a playoff appearance behind them.
