Stephen A. Smith Trolls Dallas Cowboys After Playoff Loss

The Dallas Cowboys came tantalizingly close to escaping their first-round matchup with the San Francisco 49ers. Dak Prescott attempted to lead a would-be game winning drive late in the fourth quarter with Dallas trailing by six points. Time would ultimately run out, sending the Cowboys packing for the season.

Stephen A. Smith is a well-known critic of the Dallas Cowboys. That’s why it came as no surprise that Smith immediately took to Twitter to grill the entire team. Smith said he’d been right about Dallas all along in the video.

“Didn’t I tell ya? Didn’t I tell ya? All year long, when everybody was raving about those boys in Big D, what did ya boy Stephen A. say? They ain’t gonna even win a playoff game.

And sure enough, right on schedule, right when it really really counts, they crashed like a cheap tent in inclement weather. All I gotta say is two things: How ’bout them Cowboys? And see you on First Take tomorrow. Ya boy is back, right on time.”

The 49ers overcame the wild closing sequence to advance to the second round. San Francisco will take on the Green Bay Packers on Saturday night at Lambeau Field. Dak Prescott and his team will be heading to the golf course.

Stephen A. Smith is never afraid to speak his mind. Sometimes, the controversial talking head is even right. This time, the Dallas Cowboys were the victim. They’ll be hearing about it all offseason.
