T.I thinks he’s the best rapper in the world and would defeat anyone in a Verzuz battle. He made a bold claim to assert his name at the top of the Hip Hop summit.
On Jan. 16, the Atlanta rapper took to Instagram to make a very unexpectant statement. Despite music not being his primary source of income he thinks, he’s the best of the best. His rant stated out with a string of profanities while saying that nobody can touch him.
“Muthaf*ckas can’t f*ck with me in no way, shape, form or fashion when it comes to doing no music, man, I got a lot of other sh*t going on so I don’t do music on no consistent basis. I don’t depend on that sh*t to feed me, you hear me? But when you’re talking ’bout doing music, when you’re talking ’bout cutting records, you talking ’bout putting sh*t out, talking ’bout making sh*t that’s better than anything out there, man, ain’t nobody f*cking with me. Nobody f*cking with me, bruh.”
T.I went on to claim nobody can out-rap him on a song and because of it people don’t want to collaborate with him. He reiterated “ain’t nobody f*cking with me, n-gga. None of ’em. None of ’em.” It’s unclear what prompted this reaction from T.I.
T.I then started calling out some of his peers from rap industry including Jay-Z, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Nas and Pusha T and he made sure to assert his dominance.
“Jay and Nas, you need to bring them, bring them, n-gga, They who you need. Jay, Nas, Wayne, Ye… n-gga, they who you need. Bring them. Pusha T. Yeah, all them. They who you need. Keep trying to goddamn throw my name in the circle, in the mix… ain’t nobody f*cking me, n-gga. Keep playing, n-gga, I’ma keep dropping sh*t, I’ma keep showing you, n-gga.”
Previously, T.I challenged 50 Cent to a Verzuz battle in September 2021. However, 50 declined his proposal and said “respectfully stay away” from him. In June 2021, T.I announced his next studio album Kill the King would be his final album.
