Dak Prescott scrambled for a long gain as the clock ticked to less than ten seconds. The Cowboys needed a touchdown to tie, and an extra point would have sealed the victory. Prescott failed to allow the officiating crew to spot the ball, and time expired.

Dak thanked Cowboys fans who threw beer bottles and other garbage at the refs after the game. Most NFL experts believe the flub was Prescott’s own doing. Cowboys fans don’t care, they’re just frustrated about missing out on another shot at a Super Bowl.
