WWE Games Hypes Huge 2K22 Announcement

WWE 2K22 has been in the works for quite some time. Fans of the series haven’t seen a new release since the disastrous WWE2K20 caused them to take a break and retool the entire franchise. WWE video games don’t have the best reputations.

Those who do enjoy the series have been waiting a long time for any scraps of news. Thus far they haven’t sniffed so much as a release date. Box art for the game did recently sneak online. Rey Mysterio will receive the honor as the cover model.

WWE Games took to Twitter to announce that they will soon be breaking their silence. In just three days, WWE fans and gamers everywhere can expect a huge announcement about the game. That would fall on January 20, 2022.

Excited gamers chimed in with hopes of new match type announcements and game modes. Others were more reserved in their response, waiting to hear what WWE Games has to say. At least there is something to look forward to now.

WWE2K22 has to be home run for the franchise to have any chance at a viable future. Too many gamers have been let down by buggy, unfinished releases. If the game fails to deliver, consumers will start to speak with their pocketbooks.
