The Spears sisters have been at odds for years. The pair have recently made headlines after going back and forth with their recent feud. From Britney calling Jamie out for her book to Jamie asking Britney to stop embarrassing herself, it seemed like a never-ending fight. However, Jamie Lynn Spears has now come forward and claims that she received an apology from her estranged sister.
Jamie recently shared a text message with the public in her new memoir. The text message is allegedly an apology from her sister. Britney allegedly sent her the messages amid their feud.
“In a recent text from my sister,” mentioned Jamie before starting the memoir. “I know it’s not your fault and I’m sorry for being so angry at you. Although I’m your big sister, I need you more than you need me and always have,” wrote Jamie in Things I Should Have Said.
While it is unclear when the pop star sent the alleged apology, Jamie included it in the chapter of her book that details the June 2021 court hearing. Britney said her family should be in jail for benefitting from her nearly 14-year conservatorship, in the very same hearing. Britney’s conservatorship was terminated in November 2021.
As of now the authenticity of the message hasn’t been confirmed. According to PageSix, Britney’s rep did not respond when they reached out to confirm the validity of the message. Hopefully, the feud between the sisters will end after this.
