Kamala Harris Makes History As First VP To Get Honorary Wax Statue

POTUS Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have their own wax statues. While the statues are on public display for the world to see, it’s a historically significant moment. No vice president prior to Kamala Harris has received their own wax statue.

Madame Tussauds New York unveiled these statues. They will be put on public display as part of giving people the Oval Office experience. Along with the president, who gets a wax statue as per tradition, Kamala Harris has made history with her own wax statue.

The democratic duo is standing on opposite sides of the Resolute desk as statues. Their dresses are exactly the same as they were back on Inauguration Day, and they stand with wide smiles.

President Biden even has the pair of sunglasses that he’s usually famous for. The statues look extremely similar to their real life counterparts. Madame Tussauds has done a tremendous job, given the resemblance.

VP Kamala Harris is the first vice president to have been given the honor. It might be because she overtook the duties of a president for little while, her election as the vice president was also historical. Harris is the first black and Asian-American female to have become vice president.
