Katt Williams Blasts Michael Blackson For Claiming That Martin Luther King Jr. Had A White Side Chick

Michael Blackson is known to make a lot of jokes in bad taste. That has not stopped him yet. However, with his latest joke on Martin Luther King Jr. day, it seems that he’s finally reached his limit.

Martin Luther King Jr. day was observed on January 17th, and most of the country was free to meditate upon it. However, Blackson felt it was appropriate for him to mention the love that MLK junior had lost.

Back in 2016, a woman stepped forward claiming that both her and MLK Jr. were in love with each other when they were young. Blackson joked about it and said on a post on Instagram:

I don’t mean to start no sheet but I heard that Martin Luther King had a white side chick. Is it true? I’m just a beechn***a from a little village so please let me know.

Kat Williams was having none of it, and commented on his post saying “C**n question.” He wasn’t alone in his opposition to Blackson’s insensitive joke. A lot of people noticed that Junior’s separation from his young love was a tragic one.

Both Blackson and Williams are comedians. However, their different sensibilities are evidence to the fact that even comedians have a sense of what’s fair to joke about and what isn’t.
