Peyton Manning has a very good gig going right now. Peyton gets to hang out at home and talk about football with his brother, Eli Manning and celebrity guests. The format has become surprisingly popular and is regularly offered as an alternative feed for ESPN’s Monday Night Football broadcasts. Such a show does come with its risks, however.
There have been some production gaffes with the ManningCast in the past. Marshawn Lynch famously dropped the f-bomb. Awkward moments also make for great comedy, as Snoop Dogg recently gifted the straight-laced Eli Manning with a Death Row Records chain.
Anything can happen during a ManningCast. This week, it was the Super Bowl-winning quarterback who made the flub. Peyton Manning dropped the s-bomb during the show.
“I can’t hear sh*t,”
Eli Manning quickly and humorously dropped in with a, “Nevermind.” Eli was criticized earlier in the season for flipping the bird to the camera. The Manning brothers handled the situations like true professionals.
Peyton blamed the mistake on being too excited by an Odell Beckham touchdown. Manning claimed his mic broke when he reacted which caused the on-air slip. Mistakes like these are one of the reasons fans love Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli Manning. Anything could happen.
