Kanye West and Fat Joe are both rap legends. Joe, on the other hand, isn’t too big a celebrity to not offer his friends compliments when it comes to honoring them. Fat Joe recently stated that Kanye West is his favorite rapper in the world.

Fat Joe revealed his favorite rapper during a recent appearance to the I Am Athlete podcast. Joe expressed his admiration for the Chicago rap icon. Kanye West is Joe’s favorite rapper in the world.

“Kanye is my favorite rapper in the world, and I love him to death. He’s my favorite rapper, he’s been my favorite rapper. And I won’t turn my back on him, no matter what he do.”

“I f*ck with Kanye. He’s a genius, he’s incredible, and I f*ck with him. A lotta people we cool with, they don’t vote like us, they don’t agree with everything, but we gotta f*ck with him. He made ‘Jesus Walks’.”

During the interview, Joe also stated that anytime he is around Kanye, the feeling is always real and not weird, as most sources and individuals claim Ye to be in person these days.

“When Kanye West gets around me, he’s as normal, as real as he can be. No extra sh*t.”

During his I Am An Athlete podcast interview, the Bronx rap star also revealed some of the wisdom he provided his children. Celebrity children are sometimes assumed to live luxuriously as a result of their super-rich parents, but Joe makes it plain that his children are aware of their financial status.

“You should never lie to yourself. Don’t even lie to your family. I tell my wife, I tell my kids, we are not Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs or Shawn Carter, JAY-Z. One day my son, he was like, nineteen, he’s like, ‘Yo dad, look at this!’ I look at it, he got Dr. Dre son on a private plane, you got JAY-Z. He’s like, ‘This is how the sons are moving now!’”

“I was like, ‘You ain’t f*ckin’ movin’! We ain’t got that sh*t! So, stop lookin’ at them muthafu*kas and stay the course! Stay in your lane, because a lotta—it can be women, too—but a lotta men lose themselves by not trying to keep it real with themselves.”

During the interview, Fat Joe shared some wisdom and also paid tribute to Kanye West. That is why his supporters hold him in high regard. For more updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
