The Marvel Cinematic Universe expanded a lot through the release of their Disney+ miniseries. While many characters received much-needed character development through their series (such as Wanda in WandaVision & Hawkeye), others are focusing on the launch of new characters.
She-Hulk is one of the most-hyped upcoming MCU projects. While the series follows Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters turning out to be the She-Hulk, Mark Ruffalo also carries on his role as Hulk.
Ruffalo made his entry in the MCU as the Hulk back in 2012, with the release of The Avengers. However, Tim Roth, who played the Abomination alongside Edward Norton in The Incredible Hulk (2008) will also be reprising his role.
In a conversation with Uproxx, Roth revealed that his role getting reprised after more than 13 years was very surprising to him. He said that he initially went into the role because of his kids.
Well, honestly, it totally surprised me. I went in to chat with Kevin Feige and he said, “I’ve got an idea. Come in.” Really? Really? Because the original thing that I did, when I did that first Incredible Hulk movie, was I just did it for my kids.
Shang-Chi & The Legend of The Ten Rings showed an unlikely appearance of Abomination. While he remained a mystery throughout the years after his defeat at the end of The Incredible Hulk, he was seen fighting Wong in an underground fighting ring. Whatever the case may be, we’re sure to see a lot more of him in the upcoming MCU series.
