The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson, will be the actor’s first venture as the Caped Crusader. The film is set to be a completely different take on Batman than shown in previous franchises.
Pattinson’s reveal was met with a lot of mixed reactions from fans, as many doubted Pattinson could do the Caped Crusader justice. Pattinson also made it clear he was afraid of offending Batman fans.
The film will feature one of Batman’s most iconic characters as Catwoman will be present. Zoe Kravitz will portray the role of Catwoman. Fans got to see her in action recently as well.
According to a new listing on the IMAX Melbourne website, it has been revealed that the upcoming film will be 176 minutes, which makes the film almost three hours long. This makes the film the longest Batman movie ever.
Currently, The Dark Knight Rises is the longest Batman movie at two hours and 45 minutes but will soon be surpassed from the looks of it. The film is set to release on March 4, 2022. We will have to see how the film turns out to be and if it will be able to live up to fan expectations, especially when it comes to Batman and Catwoman’s portrayals.
