Christina Aguilera is a veteran in the music industry. She has been in the music industry for a long time, which is why she has had a long list of conflicts with her contemporaries.
Aguilera and Britney Spears have had a long history together. They’ve also had their own set of conflicts with each other. However, Aguilera says that she will always be there for Spears, no matter what. After what Britney has been through, she needs all the support she can get.
While appearing on The Eric Santos Show on Friday, Aguilera was asked about whether she had reached out to Britney Spears or not. Aguilera had nothing but nice things to say.
The Mickey Mouse Club in 1993 featured both Aguilera and Spears back when they were children. Aguilera said that she didn’t want to comment on Spears’ conservatorship out of turn. She expressed happiness over the freedom that Spears gained and added that “every woman is supposed to feel empowered.” She also spoke about how it feels to grow up in the industry.
I never want to speak out of turn about somebody that I have so much respect and admiration for. I couldn’t be happier for her, every woman deserves to feel empowered and to own that for themselves, however they see fit. And yes, growing up in this business can be freakin’ crazy. You know, if anybody gets that and understands what that means at that time coming up, it definitely would be her and I. I will always be here to reach out to. I love, you know, being able to connect like that with other women … it’s very important, now more than ever, now that we do have the ability to connect, that that happens, and that we always feel unified.
The bond between Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears is pretty old. This is not the first time when Aguilera has spoken about her support for Britney Spears. She spoke out about Spears fighting over her conservatorship and giving a powerful court testimony. Now that both the stars are in their 40s, they share a bond that is quite rare to achieve.
