Megan Thee Stallion and Shenseea released their new single, Lick on Thursday night. The duo left their fans stunned with the sexually explicit lyrics of the song. Megan and Shenseea sported a revealing white lingerie which highlighted their voluptuous figure. In addition to grinding and twerking on each other in the video, they also instructed listeners on how to perform oral sex through some very explicit lyrics.
Thee Stallion’s verse appears to be more popular than Shenseea’s among listeners. Shenseea has received a lot of response in the hours since her song was released, much of it from those who believe the recent college graduate “washed” her fellow recording artist on the 25-year-own old’s track.
“I knew it was a bootleg ‘WAP’ just from the cover art,” one person tweeted earlier this week. Others added, “It fits more of Megan’s flow. I’m a huge Shenseea fan and the song just doesn’t fit HER,” and “Shenseea can rap as we’ve seen with her freestyles. So please tell me why she allowed Meg to eat her up while she bawling bout ‘put yuh back in it.'”
“Lick” was produced by Murda Beatz and incorporates a sample of Pupa Nas T and Denise Belforn’s song “Work,” according to Pitchfork. It’s the lead single from Shenseea’s upcoming Alpha album, which will be released on March 11th.
Throughout the entirety of the video, frozen treats like popsicles, ice cream as well as lollipops were seductively consumed by the performers. The video comes a year and half after Megan set the internet ablaze with another one of her sexually explicit song, WAP with Cardi B. You can check out the video for Lick below.
