Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul finally squared off against each other in an exhibition boxing match on June 6 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. With a lot of hype surrounding the match, fans were eagerly excited to see who would come out on top. It seems Dana White has an explanation for one of Logan Paul’s recent controversies.
For a lot of fans, the boxing match was full of entertainment as both Paul and Mayweather went the distance in the match, which was something many fans did not expect at all. The match was also panned by many for not being a proper boxing match.
Logan Paul had a solid performance in his boxing match as he proved that he could hang with the best of them in the professional boxing world. Both Paul and Mayweather walked out with millions of dollars.
Logan Paul previously called Floyd Mayweather a weasel who owes him a lot of money as well. While speaking on the Full Send podcast, UFC President Dana White explained why Floyd Mayweather still hasn’t paid Logan Paul for their match.
“I want to make $30 million. I didn’t get paid enough. You don’t ever hear guys going. Yeah, they didn’t pay me yet ever.
Here’s what happens when you go in and you do these fights and Hunter, correct me if I am wrong. You do these fights that are exhibitions or whatever because the commission isn’t overseeing it. So, let’s say I did a fight with Mike. I got Mike fighting Francis or something. The athletic commission gets the money upfront. So they pay the fighters.”
Logan Paul had made it clear that he wants to square off against Anderson Silva in the future and Silva himself expressed interest in a boxing match as well. Even Paul previously claimed he could’ve knocked out Mayweather had the boxing match been 12 rounds. Regardless, it is unlikely the two will ever cross paths again.
