Garrett Hedlund Sued By Family For Crashing Into Their Car While Drunk

Garrett Hedlund has not maintained much of a presence in Hollywood after the release of his movie Tron. While he has remained active and has taken roles as an actor and has had a lot of activity as a musician, He’s making the headlines for all the wrong reasons.

The Tron: Legacy actor has been sued by the family that he crashed into last year. TMZ obtained the details of the lawsuit. The family, a mother and her three children, claim that Garrett was drunk when he crashed into their Nissan Sentra.

The family extended their claim by saying that the actor passed out while being drunk, passed a red light and then directly crashed into their vehicle. However, their claims extend beyond the accusation of the actor being just drunk.

According to the family, the actor was was intoxicated twice as much as the legal limit, due to which he’d had passed out while crashing into their car. They also added that he attempted to flee the scene and didn’t even call medical assistance for them.

Garrett had a DUI arrest, while the family members eventually found medical assistance at different hospitals after their Jan. 24, 2020 accident. While Garrett is sued for damages, his team has not reacted to the lawsuit thus far.
