The Rock Announces Historic Partnership With UFC

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is one of the most popular people in the world today. He is one of the biggest names in the wrestling industry, has starred in multiple blockbusters, and his business ventures are going strong.

The sports and entertainment icon recently landed a massive deal with UFC that will see him promote his Project Rock sneaker line in the Octagon. UFC fighters will now be wearing Project Rock BSR training shoes at the fighting promotion’s events.

The promotion will begin with UFC 270 tomorrow (Saturday). Johnson also plans on releasing a Project Rock BSR 2 line for the public this summer. No release date has been announced as of this writing.

Johnson took to Instagram to announce the lucrative multi-year deal with the combat sports giant. “I’m honored, grateful & proud, that our @ProjectRock is now THE OFFICIAL GLOBAL FOOTWEAR PARTNER of the @UFC 🌍,” he said.

UFC 270 will take place on January 22 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Reigning UFC Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou will defend his title against Ciryl Gane. Here’s the full card for the PPV event.
