Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk are one of the industry’s most attractive couples. The Bachelor of Paradise stars Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk gave an exclusive look at their intimate wedding ceremony last year. Now the couple have welcomed a baby boy into the world.
The happy news was announced on Instagram by the pair. They married in April 2021, nearly four years after meeting on the ABC dating show. Adam Gottschalk teased his son’s upcoming arrival on his Instagram story on January 17.
“We think baby G is coming today. Went into hospital this AM. Raven is 3 cm dilated and about to start epidural. #staytuned.”
Later the father revealed that the epidural had been placed and that he was heading home to gather his belongings before spending the night at the hospital. Raven was 9 centimeters dilated and an “absolute trooper.” On January 18, Adam updated a snapshot of his son’s footprints.
“Little man made it. Had emergency c-section after pushing for about an hour and a half. Mom and baby are doing very well.”
On January 18, Raven Gates delivered the couple’s baby boy at 3:33 a.m. The baby weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces, and was 21 inches long. A few days later, the new mom released images of her baby and disclosed his name, Gates Zev Gottschalk, in an Instagram slideshow.
“God heard my prayers. My sweet baby is healthy. I am very blessed! We are officially home as a family!”
Adam also included images of his son in his post. The pleased dad added that he and Raven chose the name “Gates” for their child as a tribute to Raven’s maiden name. The middle name “Zev” was Adam’s great-grandfather’s name.
Raven confirmed her pregnancy on Instagram in July 2021 while holding her baby’s sonogram. She also stated that she became pregnant while on Adam’s honeymoon.
