Doodie Lo of OTF has been in a legal battle with FTN Bae for months. In October, Bae accused Doodie of assaulting her five-year-old son. FTN heard the story from the child and believed him. A contentious court case ensued.
Doodie Lo sued FTN Bae for defamation after the claims were made. Lo eventually took a polygraph test and was able to pass. The OTF member has maintained his innocence all along.
Last night, FTN Bae issued an apology on Instagram Live. FTN said that while she wishes the situation had been resolved sooner, she glad it did. It was a case of a mother believing her son, she said.
“I’m gonna publicly apologize and say that [Doodie Lo] finally took a lie detector test. It took a while. It didn’t have to take so long. I never was trying to ruin his career or trying to get clout. I just believed my son.”
Doodie posted a document that he says clears him of any wrongdoing with the child. The paperwork came from the Broward County Courthouse in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. A report from the prosecutor’s office explained the decision not to press charges against Doodie Lo.
A lack of evidence of any abuse was cited, including an examination by a doctor. The child admitted that his mother coached him on what to say during his forensic interview. Things just didn’t add up. Doodie Lo has cleared his name.
