For a long time now Jake Paul has been fighting for the rights of UFC fighters when it comes to getting paid a fair wage for their efforts. Jake Paul had previously blasted Dana White over UFC not paying their fighters properly. It seems Jake Paul has clowned Dana White once again, this time over UFC jacking up their price.
Recently, Jake Paul received an open invitation to compete in a fight in Bellator by CEO Scott Coker. In response to the open invitation, Jake Paul even showed off a video where he was seemingly preparing for a fight in MMA.
Since then many fans have wondered whether The Problem Child will end up fighting in the MMA world, especially in the UFC. Jake Paul took to Twitter and claimed he’ll make his MMA debut as a welterweight. He also criticized UFC’s weight cuts by using Conor McGregor as an example.
. @danawhite when I make my MMA debut, I could cut 20 pounds & do it at Welterweight / 170 pounds. That’s what all UFC fighters do and many have destroyed their bodies & minds doing it. But I’m gonna do it at Middleweight (185). Health first. PS Conor walking around at 190
Dana White recently made it clear he isn’t exactly against Jake Paul competing in the UFC as well. We will have to wait and see whether Jake Paul will ever work under Dana White as it simply seems impossible at this point in time. Despite this, many believe it will happen in the future.
