Future is undeniably one of the most influential and well-known figures in trap music history. In the 2010s, he pioneered a new sound evolution and inspired many later artists, notably Young Thug and Migos, to carry on his legacy. Joe Budden even recently said that Future is up there with Drake, Ye, Cole and Lamar.
Future, like NBA YoungBoy and Lil Durk, has posted a money-spread message on Instagram, albeit his was not nearly as cryptic as YB’s or Durk’s. Future arranged his money to spell out his idea that he is the top dog in an IG story and snapped a picture of the scenario with a bird’s eye view angle revealing his fresh Balenciaga socks firmly set in the couch above the spread.
I’m dat n****a.
The Freeband gang hitmaker’s statement comes just hours after O’ Block rep Lil Durk posted his own message, which read “Hurry y’all b*tch azz Up,” accompanied with a little remark from Durk that appears to be aimed as a sneak attack toward YB, who just released his Colors album this past Friday.
Aside from his IG money messaging exploits, Future and Southside were recently revealed as executive producers for Doe Boy of the Freeband gang’s upcoming album Oh Really, which is planned for release on January 26. The album features Babyface Ray, Moneybagg Yo, 42 Dugg, Rowdy Rebel, Lil Uzi Vert, Ty Dolla $ign, G Herbo, Roddy Ricch. Additional producer credits include Tay Keith, Wheezy, Buddha Bless, ATL Jacob, and Hitmaka.
