Garrett Hedlund Tried Jumping Out Of Car Before He Was Arrested

Garrett Hedlund is making headlines for all the wrong reasons. The “Tron: Legacy” star was previously arrested for public intoxication but it seems that there is more to the story than meets the eye.

According to TMZ, the actor tried jumping out of the car the day of his arrest. Garrett was arrested Saturday night. Police were informed of the actor’s alleged antics by a man who also claimed Garrett assaulted him.

Police took Garrett into custody but eventually released him on a $2,100 bond. They say they received a noise complaint from a man around 10:30 PM. The person claimed Garrett was banging on the real door of the building.

The incident comes following the actor’s breakup with Emma Roberts. The two are parents to a child, Rhodes Robert Hedlund, born in 2020. Cops placed the actor under arrest for public intoxication.

The “Saturday Night Lights” actor is also embroiled in a lawsuit for a car crash that took place before his January 2020 DUI arrest. He is sill on probation after pleading no contest to the DUI charge.
