Patrick Mahomes’ Fiancé Is Being Attacked After Champagne Celebration

Patrick Mahomes’ fiancé, Brittany Matthews is slamming the backlash she’s received for making champagne rain after the Chiefs’ big OT win. She is calling anyone who criticizes her celebration a loser.

Some on social media chastised Brittany Matthews for opening a bottle of champagne in her suite and pouring it all over supporters at Arrowhead Stadium. Few pointed out that some fans may not have wanted to be bathed in alcohol in the frigid temperatures.

Others argued that, despite the game’s high quality, the celebration was a little excessive, given that it was the divisional round. This week, Matthews responded to the reaction on Twitter, stating she’s tired of being mocked for her every move.

I just wish I could do what I want without getting attacked every week.

When another person responded that those opposed to the celebration have obviously never won anything before, Brittany responded, “Accurate.” For what it’s worth, several members of Chiefs Kingdom defended Brittany, noting up that she has every right to spend her birthday as she wants.

The detractors will be pulling for the Cincinnati Bengals to beat the Chiefs and send the Mahomeses home empty-handed. If that doesn’t happen, expect Britt to go all-in. Check out the celebration video via TMZ below.
